Izabella Cehajic is a Speech Language Pathologist in the South-East Queensland region. After initially training as a singer at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Izabella discovered the profound impact a voice and words can have on others. This ignited her passion of Speech Language Pathology. 

Izabella completed her Master of Speech Pathology at Griffith University and has developed her personalised approach to paediatric support with family-centred practices. Her skills have been developed through working in Private Clinic; schools, kindergartens, and within the Queensland Government Department of Education.

Izabella’s practice is grounded in a child and family-centred approach. Working in partnership with parents, siblings, educators, and support teams. Izabella takes the time to build connection and trust. Getting to know each child as a person; their interests, strengths and areas of support. Having their say through their Songbird Speech Language Pathology journey is central to the way Izabella works.

Izabella provides highly individualised, evidence-based and strengths-based therapy that supports your child’s diverse learning needs, communication needs, builds confidence, and empowers families. Izabella strives to create a fun, engaging, and safe space for children to express themselves and grow in confidence. She is especially passionate about understanding the ‘why’ behind behaviours, recognising that “all ‘behaviour' is some form of communication” (Dr Becky Bailey) a quote that deeply resonates with Izabella.
